It all depends on the release period. Patreon works by monthly subscription (pledge), if while you are subscribed there is a beta, you will have access to it. If there is a beta (or any Early Access) and your subscription ends without downloading it, you lose access.
The beta and the rest of the early access are to play the new versions before anyone else (public version) whilst you support me and have access to other exclusive benefits.
