You can enable debug mode to change variables/switches, it's very useful for me.
- Go to the RPG_RT.exe file, right click Properties, copy the value in "Location"
- Make a new shortcut in the same folder, paste the location and add \RPG_RT.exe (name doesn't matter)
- Go to your new shortcut, right click Properties, go to "Target" and add TestPlay at the very end (past the quotes)
- When in-game, press F9 (or Fn+F9) to access the debug menu. I will take you this far, and no further.
