Hello! Just wondering what sort of information jav-it expects to pull in order to use the catalog functionality? Whether a specific title format or metadata.

I have started to grab my videos from R18, and while it seems to download successfully, the catalog functionality doesn't produce anything.
They all seem to loop with,

Could not find JAV information for '<CONTENT-ID>': could not find R18 video title element
Could not find JAV information by indirect search for value: '<CONTENT-ID>'
Could not get video information for '<CONTENT-ID>.ts' in directory <DIR>

I also tried renaming it to the title provided in the R18 library section, and it still seems to produce no information.

I'm running Windows 10 with Jav-It 1.7.3.

Update. Tried it on 1.12.9, same issue. Using the search functionality on the content-id identifies it immediately, but not via the catalog.

Hi, how did you get the 1.12.9? I can only find the 1.7 version on itch.io.

I subscribed to the Patreon since it mentioned on the main page that it had additional support for scraping sources.

What is the patreon link? In the readme file and itch.io page, the patreon version was mentioned a lot, but I cannot find the link. My post does not get a response as well lol. Thanks！

It doesn't give a link, but it mentions the patreon creator's name, so if you search that name in the 'Find Creators' section, it should pop up.

Hi there! R18 as a scraping source is dead now, since they took down their store front. The itch.io version will need to be updated to support additional store fronts. Downloading from R18 still works, so users who have not backed up their libraries still have a chance.

Put all the Jav-It files and the additional files from this guide in the folder you want to use for your downloads.

Log into R18.com and export the cookies file. Rename it cookies.txt and put it in the same folder as the other files.

Choose the streaming option of the video you want to download and copy the ID from the URL.

Double-Click download bat.

Enter R18.

Enter the ID you copied before.

Wait for the download to finish.
