I'll move symbol rotations up on my to-do list, and I'll look into allowing custom images as symbols instead of only text. For the moment there are a couple of workarounds, you could try deleting the symbol text and drawing it in yourself, or maybe there is a font somewhere out on the internet that has the symbols you're looking for?
