Toralei is still in g3 Monster High but... what happened to Purrsephone and Meowlody? Her two backup besties, her yes men. They really just got rid of these two? They don't say anything and are kinda in the background sure but they're still iconic- like every other character in Monster High. Even the most forgettable ones.
And Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde were done so dirty as well. Man g3 is just sad.

Her og design was so cute but simple at the same time, so it looked amazing with not having like 5 different patterns (*cough cough "gen3 frankie" cough*)
I feel like the gen3 draculaura is like- badly simple, they tried so hard to make it look like something kids would like "nowadays" also why is she suddenly a vampire witch?
frankie is actually a fever dream- her design gives me a headache....there's a good way 2 use a lot of colors in a character design, but trust me, adding a lot of neon colors and patterns at the same time + adding unneeded accessories is just way to much.
( I wrote a whole paragraph on clawdeen but I deleted all of it on accident so Imma just stop here...😦)
ANYWAY Clawdeen has 0 personality, if you asked me to name a personality trait she has I would take about 5 years to find absolutely nothing. She also has no character growth or character progression over the entire course of the movie which is the same for every other character ever, at not point did I feel like any of these characters was different at the end of the movie than they were at the beginning. They were the same person at the end, like exact same. There is no real character or story here it's just things happening because the story needs them to. There's no foreshadowing no real anything really. There's a plain and annoying twist villain at the end which come on did you not see what happened when Disney tried twist villains? It didn't exactly go well. It's just bad, the design is bad, the story is bad, they did no research on ancient egypt before making Cleo De Nile, everything is just bad.
dang u speaking big boy words 😦 I fr just woke up so I just saw this, but with the characters being bad I agree with, I still have not watched the movie and I feel like I am completely fine with never watching it...maybe if I get the courage 2, but rn I don't think I could handle a movie that can barely even make decent character designs. -3-
