WARNING: ** TL;DR: X is not a hallucination or double personality, nor is it meant for the reader to take what’s said in that one page as the truth. It’s just bad writing.**
I wanted there to be ‘evidence’ in the comic that that one character is not real, but also that she IS real. I did this very poorly (and I think you could tell I was up there with my dislike to the whole story around this point…).
I fucked up. I apologize for this shit writing choice I made. It’s only become more clear as I grew up and started taking writing more seriously that Calf Howl’s Room just isn’t very good, and some of themes explored in it deserved more.
If I didn’t dislike the majority of this comic, I would re-make it from scratch and change this whole twist.
