A unique sliding block puzzle game, it’s really good for a student game, but as like all student games, require some feedback for the future. I finally got some time to play this, here’s my review.

Story (very nice), audio (music & SFX) and graphics are pretty good, I’d say I would love to be able to read the story more easily.

For a sliding-block puzzle game, the gameplay is okay. Gets good at Chapter 3. I wonder if the intention was to have multiple solutions or only one, because I can see a few solutions for some puzzles.

First introductory puzzle for the gates was not good, did not represent the actual use of the gate very well (I just left it open, and just used it as like another path). What I would have expected is something where a gate was used to reach a checkpoint first, blocking the exit (which was closer), then opening up the gate for the AI to run to the exit. A game like Portal (as an example) introduces elements like the Companion Cube fairly well (even though it’s just a regular cube with a reskin!). In the future of any puzzle game, remember to introduce your gameplay elements well!

The Vertical puzzles were a simple way of complicating the puzzles (which was very good), however there are some visibility issues (I could not see some checkpoints or AC units after extending a bridge. In the future, I would suggest using an ghost outline around important elements like the AC units and the checkpoints (you did this already, but it doesn’t go through walls!).

Overall, good puzzle game, needs more forward-thinking & logic.
