I purchased this on sale for $5 dollars in april and I thought it was the highest version, but i have no access to the new update. Id really prefer not to drop another 10 now the price has gone up. Any way to fix this?

Available to play in 2 weeks? Or do I have to spend another $5? If you have to purchase a new version everytime it comes out, that should be posted in the descriptions. Not the biggest deal in the world but I'm sure I bought the highest version available at the time which should mean I have access to the most recent version right? I also may be confused to how this works because I don't usually buy early access games.
