Cute side runner. I'm not sure if my download was missing something (was an .exe not a .zip file). When playing there were no collisions/effects of running into the bear/gnomes etc. The only interaction was crunching leaves. I feel like I'm missing something because I didn't receive any creature blurbs such as those from comments below or the cast of characters at the bottom of your screenshots. Maybe there was a mechanic I completely missed...I tried crunching leaves near the NPC characters.
Otherwise, I could still see the starts of a nice game here.
