I am in love with this game and I really hope to see it developed in the future! I would even be interested in putting in some work myself if you're looking for that.
Anyway. During deep winter, a bug came and ate my ENTIRE tree (10+ cells) which was mostly water and just a single sugar. Then it kept hanging around at ground level and ate ANY cells that I put above ground. We're talking a cold resistant plant that I put an hour into - this needs a fix.
