The controls are too difficult, and the acceleration could be better. Also, the ship sometimes accelerates just by rotating. And why does it shoot backwards? And when it goes out of screen, it is nearly impossible to bring it back in, because you don't know where it's turned.
Other than that, pretty fun game!
