(I am now in a rush to test as many games as possible to help, so please do not mind the cursory reviewing style.)

  1. Nifty video screen effect! :) A shader, I guess? I have never used Raylib, but know about it a little; the result here is visually nice. Just, the fact that the texts sometimes jumps out of the bottom of the screen can hinder reading a bit.
  2. The music is very spooky.
  3. The ‘YOU’ portrait is too funny. XD (By the way, the player character from my game does look like this!! XD)
  4. Ambience is scary as possible, which is great given how simple the setting is! Well done.
  5. You pushed the level of pointy-and-clicky detail up to inspecting the small flowers! X)
  6. The anime figure is really small; it is great to be able to inspect a lot of things, but some are so hard to discern, I was lucky to notice that one.
  7. Random pitch for the locked wooden door noise, nice detail once again. ;)
  8. Just noticed that the wall changes completely when the ‘Alex door’ opens; is there a reason? Or is it artistic licence?
  9. Possible spoilers: I have a hard time with the four-clue code… The double dots (‘..’) made me wonder whether they were really part of the indications or not. Or are the dashes (‘-’) indications of a missing number rather than order??
  10. Oh, surprise: reanalysing the knife changes the line, depending on what you did before! People that analyse it only after will miss this nice detail.
  11. Finally had an illumination for the final code! XD Spoiler: But the dots definitely led me astray. I do not know if this is voluntary on your part!

The ambience was fascinating, great job. And the final riddle took me so long, I took the clues the wrong way. XD I wonder if this happened to other people; still, you manage to build a whole elliptic story and riddles in such a small space (few scenes), which is fitting seeing the constraint. I also liked how you connected the whole thing to the theme. So, the game is classic point-and-click, but very well done in terms of efficiency.

This makes me want to know more! Where is the prequel with Alex? XD

(By the way, just putting here that my game is pending until I get the submission form.)
