Hi Surli! You really want to make games? Your YYP file is not sufficient enough for us to discover your game, it is just a project file for the game settings in the GameMaker editor, there are no contents along with. Where are the sprites, sounds, musics, and other stuff?

You have made a lite modification of the original Space Rocks shooter by Friendly Cosmonaut. Good getting started. You know, I have modified and colored sprites (and gml code!) for the same project, ready to be shared. If you are interested, I shall send you the sample. Glad to help you, as a welcome to the amazing world of game creation!

Hi Surli! This a link to my Google Drive for you to get a copy of the project:

The ZIP has a folder already named Asteroids along with the project file inside. Extract it somewhere and import the project in GameMaker Studio 2.

Or, if you have the Trial, first make a backup of your own Asteroids project folder, renamed say Asteroids_backup, and then extract the ZIP in order to overwrite the Asteroids folder existing content.

The Asteroids.yyp will be with the same name, but inside with different references to resources. Open the project in GMS2. It should work.

There is a Warning.txt note in Resources/Notes. Read it before doing anything else.
