It would be quite weird to have them age up to adults for no fucking reason.
I mean, sure, it was already odd having them go from newborn babies to toddlers/children in a matter of weeks.
But eh, magic jumpstart, now they're actual characters.
I really doubt timeskips or timetravel are going to be part of the game for that to be possible.
