Have you tried downloading from the website? The app doesn’t always work like it should.
I might be wrong on this, but I believe the purple light means that all three systems need repair, and you will more likely get a blackout soon if they are not tended. So, If someone shows up at the door, you would not be able to close it. In that regard, you could say it means you would get an encounter:)

Alright sounds good! I was wondering on how to prevent that lol, I couldn't really make out what he was sayin on the phone because I was distracted :).
P.s. I'm not sure its something the dev team knows about, but when you're watching a tape and click on the green or yellow buttons in the top left of the game screen a bug screen pops up.
