Really enjoyed this Super Mario indie horror. Princess Peach was legit terrifying and made me scream a few times. Hoping the full game adds in some puzzles on full release. 6.5/10.

Okay this was a really fun game. The concept and execution of it is just wonderful and it really shows that CM9 Animation really paid attention when creating this lovely gem. Visually alone it is captivating and looks straight from Mario 64, which was really nostalgic, and made it more immersive when the horror hits.
You can feel the tension as you hide in the chest, and hope to god she didn't see you go into it. Sound wise, while simple, does not detract from the game, and really can lull you into a sense of security before discovering her right behind it.
Overall it's a fun game, and worth picking up. I look forward to how this is outside of the demo. But for now, it has a ton of potential.

One issue I have with the game is that I tend to feel VERY unconfident after I stop hiding. I tend to be uncertain whether or not the princess is still nearby or if I'm safe to go out.
Maybe a text indicator saying, "The Princess is in another room." would help a lot. Or a vision to display her presence would also do the job.
I see the great potential within the game. Hope you can improve on the game and fix the issues many players have.
Super fun! I really appreciated having light sneaky spooky vibes without any dumb shit jumping in my face. And of course, just being in the castle and hearing those menu select noises was fabulous (I'm 40, so this is on the nose for me. I was just old enough to be amazed at the incredible new technology of the N64 when this came out) Looking forward to the next area, keep at it!
As someone in their 30's who played way too much Mario 64 and loves horror games, this was a treat! Great job and I can't wait to see the finished product! I played this as part of my new 3 Spooky Games series and this was game #1 in my 'Ruining Your Childhood' edition. Fantastic work!
Yeah seems like it would be hard to make him fair, I was actually thinking he could follow the player, but he is loud so the Princess is triggered from farther away, but if you get in a chest the princess can scare him away.
I enjoyed this game a lot and I'm surprised I stuck with it to the end. I'm interested in seeing the finished product! Wished maybe you'd add in a few subtle jump scares here and there. Just a suggestion! :)
This was a good start. I'm eager to see what comes next, never would I imagine a first person horror game using Mario 64 assets. This has the potential to be even greater than what it is if there are some more liberties taken! I won't lie I expected a bit more jump scares, perhaps from boo in the basement or back areas of the castle but other than that I had no issues.
just kinda ok, after you understand how to properly use stamina, (wait until one bar, stop until 4) its hilariously easy to just run from peach. and if you play the game the intended way its just alot of waiting and nothing else, gets stale after about 5 minutes.
This game reminds me of SM64 But Different, so immediately I like it. But it had a couple good scares. There's a lot of stuff that needs to be done though, but this is a demo for a reason. Good game!

By the premises, this looks like a Luigi's mansion, more than a Mario64. Haven't played it yet though. Maybe i'll do it in the future

The Mac version of the demo does not seem to run on the latest version of macOS (Monterey), at least I was unable to run it.
You're the first one with this issue (or the only one who told me lol). I've exported the game again after changing an option. Does it work now?

Unfortunately, it still won't open. From reading about it online though, I think the issue might be that the Mac version of the game is not notarized.
Idk if I got it wrong, but it seems like you have to change the permissions from a mac. I'll remove that version for now...

Amazing game! The jumpscares had me shitting my pants... I had a great time overall and can't wait to see the finished product.
Pretty good demo, I got everything in one run after this new update and was able to make it to the end demo screen

A fun and difficult Mario Horror game. I can't believe i finished it. This was a blast!!!!
