The journal that opens up after day 12 kinda is the walkthrough that you can check out if you're stuck. With like 360 events scattered over 100 days, there's plenty of content to keep you busy.
After day 105 it ends for the current version but most players take quite a bit longer to complete it because there are lots of things to do including optional stuff.
