Interesting concept and the B&W theme works well!
However, I found some of the splotches on page two a little visually overwhelming - it made some sections hard to read.

The splatters blocking some of text was an aesthetic choice, but at the cost of readability. Based on your comment, I've added a new "low splatter" PDF version that removes any grunge/splatter effects from the primary text. Hopefully it increases the readability! Thank you for the idea!
