There is a way to add your own names in the most recent version without coding knowledge required.

Step 1: Go into the game file
Step2: find the 'saves' folder
Step3: scroll to the file called, 'prefixlist' (first part of the cats name) or 'suffixlist' (the second word of the cats name)
Step4: Open with notepad (should automatically do it)
Step 5: add your names :) and remember to save them
