I am here to talk about a ps game that has grown so much over the years, and that is Little Big Planet. There are, I think, 5 Little Big Planet games currently:
Little Big Planet
Little Big Planet 2
Little Big Planet 3
Sackboy Racecars (I think)
Sackboy: A Big Adventure
Each of these games takes place on a planet that only exists because of the people on earth’s creativity, Little Big Planet. All of the creativity of people comes together to make Little Big Planet through the… the “Cerebrum-billical cord” I don’t like that it’s called that, why is it called that. Anyway through that all the creativity accumulates into a planet, this planet can be anything you want it to be, it’s all up to your creativity. Let’s go through the games in order of the order I said them in.
Little Big Planet:
This is the first game in the Little Big Planet series, you play as what is called a sackperson. You look like this:
And don’t worry, you won’t look so plain forever, because you can change clothes, and you can end up looking like whatever you want. Along with changing clothes you can also place stickers. There are many different stickers in the game and you can apply them to anything you want, including yourself or your friends. You can place 3d stickers and 2d stickers (which work kinda like paint) you and your sackboy friends live in your space pod, you can decorate your pod however you like and even save pods so you can easily get back your old pod if you don’t like how you’ve changed it. There is a story and a creative mode. You can do anything and I mean anything in creative and in story you can push your friends off cliffs and be increasingly frustrated by the mechanics of a stupid hot air balloon and having no idea where the frick frack diddly dack you’re going. But you can find new outfits in story mode and new materials and new stickers. And the story is fun and interesting. So yeah.
Little Big Planet 2:
This is where LBP really steps up their game. It’s pretty much the same as LBP 1 but more stuff a different story and better character design and extra creativity using real world people as rulers over LBP like Leonardo Da Vinci. You can do even more stuff in creative mode now, and the story is genuinely engaging and it’s fun to see the characters interact with their different personalities. I’m not attracted to girls but… Eve🤭
The character design got so much better, I’m in love with the characters of this game. I just love all the stuff they added, the stickers and the new outfits. Just wonderful stuff. And I love how each part of LBP has a different type of design characterized by who rules that part of the land, because creativity comes in many different forms and I just- mwah, chef’s kiss. They also added different controls and GADGETS. It’s just so fun, I could play it forever and it’s even better with friends.
LBP 3:
I mean it’s engaging and fun and it kept with the creativity in different forms and stuff, and also now you are not the only hero in LBP. You see this adds extra backstory, 100 or smthn I don’t remember years ago, 3 evil giants came to LBP and started stealing all the creativity from it, but 3 heroes rose up and defeated the giants saving all of LBP. These heroes were Oddsock, who is so fast they can climb walls and jump from one wall to another, Toggle, who is big and strong but can shrink into a mini Toggle and run on water and squeeze into tight spaces, Swoop, who can fly… and uh… carry things? Whatever, he’s useful. But right now these heroes are in hibernation so it’s your job to wake them up again because the giants have escaped their containment. And they added EVEN MORE STUFF AND HONESTLY ITS CRAZY THESE GAMES ARE CRAZ I LOVE LBP I EMAN THEY ARE SO GREAT AND THERES SIDE QUESTS AND OMG I JSUT LOVE IT SO MUCH, anyway yeah it’s great
Sackboy Racecars:
It’s literally just a racing game but with sackpeople.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure
I love hate it. I mean… it’s like yes b it also no. The character design took more than just a step down, no it fell down the whole staircase, like what is this:
Mama Monkey will forever haunt my nightmares. Just looking at her face and I already feel like crying. Why is she sitting like that, why is it so ugly, what went on in these people’s brains for them to create whatever this monstrosity is. I get what they were trying to do but… no. All of the characters in this are so punchable. The only person I actually like is Vex, the main villain.

The only character with actually good lines and a voice I would actually bother listening to. The others… I wish I could sew their m0uth$ shut. But even if the characters quality took a massive nose dive, at least the games are fun and they added new mechanics like yeeting your friends off cliffs and new monsters to fight and yeeting other things off cliffs and YEETING THINGS, I just really enjoy the fact that you can yeet things. And I guess there’s also cool game mechanics like walking on walls and stuff. So yeah, gameplay is great, design is horrible and unfortunately you don’t have a creative mode I don’t think. So it’s kind of a love hate relationship. Also in this game LBP is called “craftworld” and introduces the concept of a “knitted knight”
honestly LBP has grown so much over the years and I love all the games do much, I will cherish them to the day I die. I never forgot LBP for one minute. It’s a game I hold very close to my heart. And you, you reading this, if you have a play station, I highly recommend to you Little Big Planet. It truly is a beautiful game.
