I have to use the Alternative Download Mode from the website due to Google being blocked within my region (China).
However, the download will only reach 1.7 GB and then it says it's completed.
When I try to extract the zipped files, it's unsurprisingly incomplete.
Does anyone have any suggestions (beyond that of using a VPN)?

did you try the itch.io app? https://itch.io/app it downloads the game and installs it. maybe that gets around the firewall

Yeah I tried, but it's still being downloaded from google drive; and as far as I can tell there isn't a way to switch to the alternate download mode within the itch.io app.

well you could upload it to another hoster for people who have problems with google :P

We have to go through itch.io; we're not willing to upload it somewhere else. The bottom line is, either use their app or download via the web, and if neither of those works, I'd request a refund.
