Benis Module often changes the lewd scene - that's the main use for it. Shotgun and like all the other guns can be upgraded in the future - so it will get a single target attack!
The lagging is probably because of the light sources in the area, if the lag is unbearable try to turning the lighting effects off in the options menu.
