Regarding David, my favorite is, without a doubt, A, but I understand that he grow the hair back in prison (as it happens to myself, in 3 weeks my hair grew back if I don't shave it) so my second choice would be C. B is not bad but.. it doesn't look as good as the other two. Is there any chance for him to be shaved again? he looks great with that look.
And regarding your question, yes, it's possible to grow that much hair in 2 months. Of course, on men that are naturally bald this doesn't happen but some men grow hair back really quickly.
