There are definitely a couple of bugs, haha, but I'm glad your experience was relatively bug free.
The numbers on the muffins (or cookies as you like to call them) are definitely something I'll fix once the game jam voting period is over.
All the tools and shortcuts are there for you to use as you please, so don't feel bad for not using the fridge or shortcuts. For all I know, that might be the optimal way to play.
