I never watched《Ultraman Trigger》but I heard about him. (Maybe I will watch it when I have some free time.) I do like reading/watching psychological horror's though.
OK.But because of the poor screenwriter, the quality of TV plot and film plot is polarized（Just like《Justice League》and《Zack Snyder's Justice League》）. If you pay attention to the plot, I don't recommend spending time watching TV.
Yes,on Chinese video platforms, TV is 4.2, but film is 9.6 (full score is 10).Because TV writers are bad at logic and character building, and 坂本浩一, the main director who is only good at martial arts lens,can't make good TV series without a good writer.
By the way,I suggest you to watch the cartoon 《灵笼》,it means the soul cages,the story of human survival on the doomsday (accompanied by thinking and criticism of human nature).:)
