What caused this error? At what point in the game? Describe, please.

I think it was caused by battle I did the training tutorial when it first happened, I skipped the tutorial the 2nd time and went to get the flower and as soon as battle happened the error popped up again.
But it might have also been the way Itch client handles the update, for some reason it went and made another folder in the AppData/roaming/itch/apps/.
AppData/roaming/itch/apps/Knightly_passions

With sub folders:
Knighly_passions_0.7c
Knighly_passions_0.9b

AppData/roaming/itch/apps/Knightly_passions

With sub folders:

Knighly_passions_0.9b

I have deleted all the files itch made and download the game separably and so far it has worked.

You downloaded the game through the application. ICH for some reason does not install the game correctly. Download the game manually.
