Interesting idea but hard to get behind.  Pikmin is about exploration and collection, whereas this seems like an aimless demo.  Overall it's fun, though a bit confusing, for 15 minutes but the abstract art style and lack of clear direction holds it back.

The pikmin feature is impressive but hard to appreciate since you're just thrown into the game without knowing what your troops can do or where they come from.  Pikmin introduces new ideas over time; first the idea of controlling troops, then growing new troops, then finding new types with abilities, etc...

I collected eye balls (or whatever takes 3 to hold) for a bit, but to get to 400 (the first goal made obvious to the player) seems unrealistic.  After finding easier goals in other places, it still didn't feel realistic for my first goal to be in the 50s (though maybe I missed easier ones).  I also lost my way to the ship multiple times which was frustrating, so a map or indicator would be useful.
