Thank you for your feedback and playing! I have just finished adjusting the line generation code and I'm currently exporting a new version with (hopefully) improvements. I will upload it shortly.
I agree, a wave based system would lend itself very well to the gameplay, however I'm afraid I won't be able to craft it in time for the jam deadline. It can always be added afterwards :)
