I had this same problem, but the solution is really simple! Before you put the glove on, go to options, and turn off 'Player Portrait'. Your game won't try to load the missing texture, so it won't get stuck in the retry loop, and you can play through the manor quest without issue. Then, once you've rescued Rinny, change out of the maid/butler outfit and turn it back on. That should solve the problem! Hope this helps!
