For 3, I meant the $10 tier. I think it's currently $5 due to the discount. If we purchase the discounted $10 tier for $5, it means we will get the latest updates right?

For 2, I meant the current demo version on steam. I played it and am considering getting latest version here. Just curious does steam demo contains the free tier(latest version - 2) or even less?

The new version costs $20 and we immediately put a 50% discount on it. To get such an update, you have to spend not $5, but $10. After a while the game will cost $10 instead of $20. The discount will remain 50%. I hope I explained clearly)

Steam is no different from Itch. The game there will be sold in the same way as it is here. But there is an advantage on itch, here you can get the game much earlier than on Steam.

There will be no demo version on itche. There is a free version, in which there is much more content than in the steam demo version.

Thanks. I think I must be doing something wrong cus I only see 3 tiers. Free tier(ver. 0.6b), $2 tier which is $1 after discount(ver 0.7b) and $10 tier which is $5 after discount (ver. 0.8c). Can’t find a $20 tier. Sorry if I’m missing anything obvious!

Version 0.8c - released for $10. After 2 weeks it cost $5. As soon as version 0.9 is released it will cost $10, after 2 weeks it will be available for $5. That's why you won't find a $10 level right now, since 0.8c is already on sale for $5.

Thanks! I think that makes sense! I got the $5 tier, will it be possible to upgrade to higher tier later by paying the difference?

I'm not sure if itch works with a surcharge. I would like it to work as you said, but the itch team seems to have a different opinion. Most likely you need to make a one-time payment of $10.
