Hello again 52sokra!

Finally I played through the whole game to the ending of this version, and gathered some more thoughts to share.

Trying hard to not spoil anything about the story, I can only say that somehow I do not like the protagonist. It very much feels like that he is fundamentally not the passionate romantic type which I would prefer to take control over. But of course, I guess this is not very surprising, because the game is tagged with "male-domination". But, uh, how can I say this? I'm just trying to somehow hint you, that he could be a bit more caring and emotional, and less villainous by default. I get the idea that in the future story-wise there gonna be plenty of meaningful choices about doing evil or good, but if he in his standard default state behaves and thinks the way I experienced so far, then I'm not so sure about whether I wanna tag along his adventures. It's just rather hard for me to accept what he has done with Julia, considering that it was his original intention from the very start. To make you understand my standpoint better, in other words, I'm not the hero-type kind of a player, but this just feels wrong.

Of course anything can change in the future, so maybe if he also gets into some kind of similar accident with an other type of artifact, then the story would take a more interesting turn for me.

You also tagged the game with "horror", so even tough I'm not so sure about it, in which direction would you like to move forward this story, I think that it feels like that maybe you can also tag it with "Dark Fantasy".

Besides my subjective observation about the story, also here are some more technical stuff to improve:

Make sure to double-check the rooftops in the slums area, because it is possible to casually walk on some roof areas like on the ground.

Add invisible barriers to the tables, unless the main character is supposed to casually walk into them.

Please fix somehow the door-opening animations on the houses in the city, so it won't look like the character opens the door, and there is a wall behind the door and then he blinks through the wall while moving into the houses.

Please add more items. Especially less "generic" items, and much more fantasy-like stuff, with fun descriptions. Maybe also add a gift shop and make it possible to buy gifts to the girls. Or anyway, anything more fun to spend gold on, maybe a casino or something like that.

From the loot I gathered so far, I think you may be planning to implement some kind of crafting or potion making system, but please don't overdo it.

Please make sure, that treasure chests are never empty. In worst case they should contain a trap or a mimic monster, but never be empty.

The strength and level of magic spells automatically increases by using them, right? But how many times should I use a spell to level it? Is there anything that indicates the strength of a spell or how many times it was used?

Are there no skills to attack multiple enemies at once? It sure makes the game more difficult, that I must hit every monster one-by-one.

Anyway, that's it I guess, nothing more comes to my mind right now.

Thanks for the experience, I look forward to the next version.

Don't want to spoil so I won't go into the main chars personality/reasons but I see where you're coming from. Some choices/reactions just make him seem like a villain through and through but this should change with time.

Just the other day I lowered the chances of chests being empty as well as added gold to them.  Them being empty should be a rare occurrence now, hopefully.  About the doors that lead straight into a wall, it's things like this that you just forget....Sigh. Walking on roofs??? Jesus, will look into that.

No crafting though, I guess you got that from the fact that you get misc items like "berries" and such but no, no crafting. The list of droppable items is quite short which is why they're there. I will take another look and see if I can add something else...maybe "trinkets" that can be sold for gold. i.e "broken pocket watch" and "jewelry" to name a few.

As for the spells, I was going for more of a "surprise happening" type of thing. Their strength, on the other hand, is quite noticeable so I left it at that. Each upgrade is considerably more powerful than its predecessor.
