Do you have Ste second heart?
You can have it only if you have discouraged Logan. Go straight to the house during evening (17:00 should be fine) this should trigger the "real" end to the country road storyline. Choose -I want to be there for Ste and -Try another time (otherwise at best you loose your chance to be rewarded with Ste second heart, at worst you'll be rewarded with a hate heart by Ste or Logan). Only after that you can sleep at night at Ste and start the gloryhole construction.
