Ezmore’s Crystals is an overall strong game. It features a large story with constant action to be had.

Playability was decent. The controls are the mouse and a few keyboard buttons. I personally hate just using mouse, but for this game it probably works best. There were some minor bugs, but I never noticed anything major. The game isn’t hard but can be really frustrating as once a goblin sees you, you have to kill it. So, if you have hardly any health left, you have to still kill the goblin. You cannot outrun it. Most games let you outrun enemies. Another thing I noticed was that even while using a bow, if I clicked on an enemy, I’d run up to them to shoot from close range, it defeats the whole purpose of a bow. 2/5

Sound was very strong. Ezmore’s Crystals featured a very compelling soundtrack and had constant music in the background. The sound effects were good too. Overall, very strong. 4/5

The graphics were decent. The main problem with the graphics was how similar they are to other games. I get it, its Lego. But the game just looked like every other Lego game which didn’t make it anything interesting. I think a good way to improve the graphics would be to add extra effects to it, like shadows, depth of field, motion blur, sun rays, etc. I found the text bubbles when talking to someone were very clustered and difficult to follow. They used 1 single text box for the entire conversation and would make the text super small, so it fit, then choosing what to reply with was sometimes difficult. 2/5

The entire concept was not bad. As mentioned before, it felt so unoriginal since I find all Lego games to be the same. It felt so similar. That’s not to say it wasn’t a good concept/story. It still had an original story and title. It was pretty strong. The NPCs were kind of weak though. They didn’t really feel like actual people, rather mindless zombies ordering you on tasks that you have no clue what you’re doing. 2/5

Overall, Ezmore’s Crystals was a fairly strong game. It isn’t the most compelling game out there but is way better than a lot of other games. There is definitely room to improve. Mainly the text bubbles and the HUD (the tiny text in the corner telling you where to go wasn’t the best). Ezmore’s Crystals is a pretty solid game and just as good if not even better than most other similar Lego games. I’d give it a 5/10
