Not sure there's a way, unfortunately, besides switching your desktop resolution to a small resolution temporarily, just for the game. Compatibility settings may provide additional help, but alas, no internal support for such a thing.
I found a work around. To fix it, I set my monitor to 1080p and ran it windowed and the shut down the app. I changed the resolution back to 4k and restarted the game and it ran it at the smaller screen size windowed. I'm just posting it here for people that will encounter the same problem I have.
