Crash on startup.

From the very first install, the app only ever immediately crashes on startup.

I tried 0.5, 0.4, and 0.5 demo. All same. Uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, powered off, deleted the folder (it only appeared once), all the same.

Exactly twice did it load and not immediately crash, I got to look around, but while trying to connect to SMB it crashed.

No one else seems to be complaining about this, what's special about my headset? Help?

Can you try disabling your wifi on the headset and then try launching the app? Maybe the SMB network scan is causing it to crash. Else, it could be an issue with your headset.  A factory reset might help.

Progress!

Turning off wifi stopped the crashing.

I stopped smbd on my NAS and tried with wifi, crash again.

I connected to my guest network (internet access, but isolated from everyone on local network), no crash.

So *something* on my local network is not playing nice, I just have to find out what. When I get it, I'll post back.

I finally found it. It was my printer. I have a *lot* of network devices and this was not my first guess by a long shot.

Epson XP-7100

The solution was to log into the web interface as administrator, then:

Advanced Settings > Services > MS Network

Uncheck  'Use Microsoft network sharing'

The printer has the ability to share files on a plugged in SD card. I've never used this feature. Perhaps it gives a response Heresphere doesn't like when there's nothing plugged into the printer to share.

Hope this helps someone else in the future.
