It’s because the community sucks. Too many pedos ,white supremacist and overall shitty people. Now you have a mod that’s a borderline pedo. I saw I had to leave and so many others. That app probably has the worst community of all mainstream social media apps. From what I’ve seen, people fucking hate iFunny. I’ve searched for the reason and all I’ve seen was “everyone on the app is a kid,” “everything on it is a repost,” or “the features are dogshit,” and two of the three are false. (The features kind of are dogshit.) However, from what I’ve seen on Reddit’s subreddits about memes/humor, they can’t help but call iFunny a “normie (grossest fucking word imaginable)” app or some shit. They tend to overlook the fact that some memes they are using at this moment were created for and by people who use the app (ex. snap! thats going in my cringe compilation). On r/dankmemes, I’m seeing a plethora of incredibly unfunny t-pose/reee/“can this get 50 likes”-esque posts. Even though I can agree that iFunny features often suck, the fact that the same people who shit on iFunny still use the word “normie” makes me wonder how far one can possibly shove their head up their own ass.
