I don't seem to get it - Is the black screen with the constant beeping the end, or not - because I always end there no matter what I do. The gameplay is really simplicistic and especially the hitboxes are unpolished, makes sense it's a jam game, but it makes not taking damage practically impossible

I find the mix of different resolution sprites really jarring and I don't understand the existent of the grey lines in the foreground... But the palette overall was pleasant to look at.

Overall I think the game could have been improved with way more randomness to elevate the simplicistic gameplay. :<

The black screen with the constant beeping is the game over screen, and it was gonna be way better but I got scared that I would not be able to finish it in time (while having quite a bit of time) so I made it that. I am currently reworking the game to be a lot better then it is now. The gameplay is simplistic due to it being made on Scratch (and I am not the best at it) and, on the page description of the game, I say you were gonna be able to fight back, however the change was made very late in development due to problems in which the blobs could attack you after you kill them, which is probably why not taking damage is difficult (I am still applying the fighting mechanic, not the easiest thing.)

All the sprites was made in Piskel, mixed with my knowledge of not knowing how to use it probably was one of those reasons that made the game look so bad resolution wise. In my mind, the game was supposed to look like a old arcade type game with a scratched up screen (which explains those grey line and black bars I guess.) Good to know you liked the palette, its a very simple mix of bright red.

Once again, I am reworking the game to be a LOT more better, so it wont be so simple then (hopefully.)

Thanks for the criticizing, too. I enjoy it. It tells me what I should change and what I should remove to make a better and more enjoyable game.
