Love the game but unfortunately there is an issue when installing it through the itch.io app which makes it impossible to update to Chapter 8

the log says:

We haven't really changed how the game works on a fundamental level so you shouldn't be seeing these kinds of problems. There was someone else that was having problems with the itch.io app installer and the problem was on their end. Try uninstalling and deleting the game files (don't worry the saves are kept separate) and then installing it again.
