Ruby gets up and just as she’s about to sit next to Blaze, James walks up to her, grabs her hand and jus says
“No!”
“What?”
“I don’t want you to sit here.”
“…why?”
“…”
“…ok, I’ll sit somewhere else.”
She sits on the other side of the table-
Blaze gave Ruby a confused look
she looked just as confused
she just shrugs it off and fixes her glasses
James then sits next to Ruby

so after dinner, Ruby went up to Blaze
Blaze was kinda just zoning out
“hey, Blaze. I’m gonna go to the bookstore to get the book I promised James, wanna come?”
"sure!"
