Was expecting Book 1 to end with big drama like Yukine finding out about the harem scheme, or stumbling upon MC kissing one of the other LI's or something/vice versa.
Can't say I expected, much less considered, the kinda tragedy we actually got. Was already interested in Book 2 but now I'm more interested to see how the characters move forward from it.
