Is MC going to be homophobic the entire time? Because I'm bisexual and MC making snide comments about same sex attraction and sex is really pissing me off. Being rude and standoffish to be a dick is one thing, homophobia etc is completely

Which jokes? We have had hundreds of thousands play the game, and no one, not one, has made any mention of this because we do not specifically write these jokes into our game. The MC has mentioned he is striaght, but that's about it. You find us 3 examples.

Also, this is a story of redemption. The MC is going to be a dick for a few chapters. It's a story and it needs an arc, and the player decides which redemption he has.

I didn't say they were jokes. The time MC tells the super friendly guy that he's fine with his sexuality felt a bit hostile. The time MC walks in on the porn shoot, his comments still felt a little judgy despite him saying he wasn't judging. It's possible these things weren't as hostile as I read them, but considering how much of a dick MC is to everyone about everything, it's not hard to read them that way.

As for your hundreds of thousands of people playing the game, the vast majority of them are probably straight guys, so chances are unless it was blatant homophobia the majority of them wouldn't notice it, and even then how many would care to mention it?

In defense of of the dialog with super friendly dude:

As a straight dude with a few non-straight friends, it seems that ANY time a straight guy has to point out his straightness to someone who is gay or bi always comes across harshly, whether he intends to be a dick or not.  It's a simple way of saying "not interested," and anyone hoping there COULD be some interest is going to take that harsh - regardless of sexuality.

If super friendly dude came across to be interested in the MC, as it DID kinda seem, at first, almost any straight guy out there would have said SOMETHING to squash the idea of a hook up right away, so as to not lead super friendly dude on.  Would it be harsh?  Not in intent, but most likely in reception.
