I’ve been playing for the past HOUR and I can’t get past this for some reason. I don’t even know if I’m going the right way. There is no indication on what direction I go to.

Listen. I left the game. And re-joined. None of the candles were lit so I didn't know which direction to go until a kind soul arrived and helped me to the next checkpoint.
