First of all congrats for submitting to your first game jam!
Things I do like: the graphics are very nice. The colors work well together, so a consistent art theme. Very nice. The animations are also really good. Music is nice but gets a bit repetitive after some time.
Some tips to improve:
A bit more tutorial in the game would be nice, so what controls to use and what the goal of the game is. Also there should be some visible track of progress like how many tears to collect for next upgrade and also for the main goal so the player can work towards it. Right now the game gets boring after some time, wich can easily be fixed by adding progress tracking and/or making the game a bit shorter.
That said I think this is an impressive first jam game. Especially the graphics are very well done and don't need improvement in my opinion.
