He decided to just stay quiet as he followed, after all-she did at least promise it.

It was all fine and good-until he started hearing what could only be described as the screams of the damned. 

". . . Yeesh, and I thought the screams of angels being sent here we're bad-"

"Immortals are harder to break."

"Guess you could say that. ...Hey, have you actually ever met the ones that made us like this? You know, angels and demons."

"Mmm...as far as I'm aware, I've always been like this." 

"..Don't you think it's weird how we have to follow these stupid rules, even though we've never actually met the ones who made them?...I think so at least."

..Well, at least he was being more calm than before, that's a good thing at least.

She shrugged 

"No one ever said you have to follow them, you're just choosing to. And frankly, you're not even following them either since you're down here. So I think we're both far beyond that now..."

".. Fair enough, ... It's still strange though, never seeing the ones that separate ones, or move ones together.. no?"

"....My father's the king of hell. I've seen plenty of what goes on down here."
