Auto-save will be added soon. Check the "saves" folder inside the game, sometimes the game itself makes auto-saves, maybe you have some "auto-X-LTX.save", just delete "auto-" and leave the rest as is.
The crash could be from Joi itself, I've done that level and the repeatable event and everything seems to work correctly.
