He held out a hand to him, stepping around the gravestone as he smiled, legitimately glad he was back.

His eyes widened, freezing up.

"Oh no-nononono you-you can SEE ME!? CRAPPPPP-Nope-"

He stood up on his own, wincing in pain before brushing himself off, turning to quickly walk away

"Nope, nu-uh I ain't doing this shit I will stay in limbo forever I am NOT gonna do this-"

While they were talking, Kaz walked into the convenience store and pulled another monster out of the fridge. He walked RIGHT past the cashier without paying. The cashier looked right through him, like he couldn't see him.
