heya. thanks for the kind words. I always love these reactions where people get pulled in thinking the game is going to be fairly shallow. I'm also always humbled by writers complimenting the game's writing considering this is a first attempt for me. So a very humble thank you and I appreciate your words.
In terms of sound: nope. There's no sound or music yet. I have pretty big expectations for that and i'm still learning all the coding and design of this so, if i do add sound/music, it would have to be done right. there's still a lot of work to be done :)
