He smiled a little, and let go of her.. but after a moment of doing so, he placed a gentle.. small kiss.. on her cheek. After that.. he walked past her, since well, they we're running back to U.A....Even then, he still kissed her.

... He was already out of ear shot, sadly.. he didn't know she was about to cry her heart out, to herself of all things.. unless he was forced to sorta look back or.. something made him, he wouldn't have been able to comfort her.

She walked to the teacher's lounge-she wanted to talk to All Might-he was sort of the closest thing to a mentor type she had, and he knew more about her than any of the UA kids, whiiich wasn't saying much since they knew literally nothing about her.

I mean in all fairness-he HAD retired at this point, so it didn't quite matter since everyone already knew. She barged into the room, holding back her sobbing. One thing to know about Mari-she DIDN'T cry. No matter how badly she wanted to, no matter how badly she needed to she. DIDN'T. CRY.
