"I-I um-..."

He cleared his throat, glancing back at him through lowered lashes, thick and dark.

"I-I have some information for you as well-a-about one of the other merchants-a-apparently the cloth trader has too much silk on her hands and needs to sell it off....s-she might be willing to bargain..."

".. I see.. well, how much do you need?.. I believe I can gather it for you, unless.. you have more to tell.."

"Oh! Oh, no n-not for me-I-I just thought you might like to know-"

He laughed a bit

"I don't even know what I'd use silk for..."

".. Oh, hehe! well alright alright, and I wouldn't say that.. I'm sure you kinda find plenty of things to use it for.."

He sighed, shaking his head

"Peasants hardly have need of fine cloths-you can't exactly wear silk on dirt-packed floors-or use satin to wipe down a grimy table-"

".. Don't call yourself that, I do not wish to hear such words be heard from you.."

"H-Hm?"

He looked up at him, in confusion

".. You are not a 'peasant'.. nothing in any way, makes you that.. you are more than that, so much more."

"Oh...."

He looked up at him with flushed cheeks, lips parting slightly

".. Now repeat this to yourself, just once.. 'I am special'.. go on, try it."

He smirked slightly at him, resting his head against his palm as he longed to see his eyes forever.
