nearly a year later; finally beat this game
full review broken up into segments:
-i really do enjoy the character designs; the lead is cute, the antagonist is very attractive, and the imps are great
-the animations are really well done, very pleasing
-the gameplay is very smooth and does function very well...mostly
-in terms of hit boxes, there are definitely some questionable moments through out, particularly the fireballs and final stage imps
-the game as a whole is difficult, very very difficult. and while the rewards for each section are nice, I still don't believe they are fully worth it for the later segments in the game.
-the latter half of the game feels artificially difficult in terms of how long it takes to destroy certain parts, and thus is just frustrating.
overall, while i have fun in the beginning...my opinion has still not changed as a whole: it's still not worth the headache. it's fun in the beginning, but aggravating towards the end.
